Message	I'm sure most of you know about the recent 1009 rwhp Z owned by my buddy Steve Melson....Well, yesterday at the drag strip, his crank snapped while doing a burn out--probably fatigued from the 30 plus dyno pulls... He is currently looking to get a stronger forged crank... I have never heard of anyone snapping their crank on a VG30...I thought it would be important to have the info out there for people looking to build high horsepower Z's... It appears that 1000rwhp (1150hp crank) is the maximum amount of power the stock crank will hold... I know there are a few other cars out there making a little more power but i don't think they will last very long...
